About The Wild Lettuce

I live in Devon between woodland, coast, moors and marshes. I am passionate about botany and the culinary applications of foraging, always trying to find new ways to incorporate the plants that I forage into the food I eat every day. I am a chef at a wonderful organic company in Devon by day, but my passion for foraging has become my own non profit organisation- I simply want to share my love for good food made with seasonal and free ingredients with others. I have over 10 years of culinary experience as well as the lifetime of inherited plant knowledge from my wonderful family, not to mention the past couple of years of self-led extensive research.
Being an opportunistic pescatarian, my recipes are generally meat free although I have no moral opposition to the consumption of meat- just a wholesome love of veg. This includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten free recipes at times.
